Welcome rainfall

 Thunder rumbled, dark clouds covered the sky and released much needed rain over Underbool and surrounding districts on Saturday 6th October. 10 - 11 mm of rain were recorded around Underbool giving crops the first good watering for some time. After the heat and wind of previous days had exhausted moisture levels, this rain has freshened struggling Mallee crops. Hopes for some harvest have been revived.
