Large bush fires ignited by dry lightning in Little Desert area continue to burn. Fanned by strong northerly winds on Monday 27th January saw rapid spread of the fires. Southerly winds on Tuesday 28th pushed smoke into the Mallee and there was a heavy atmosphere of smoke over Underbool.
