Please remember to check the fuel level and organise to fill it if required. We cannot turn out to fires if there is no fuel in the truck.

COVID-19, influenza and gastroenteritis are all moving around our communities, causing significant personal and workplace impacts. Information from the health department suggests we should expect this to be the case throughout the coming months, so please continue to be vigilant about protecting yourself and your loved ones.
At MTHCS, we are coping the best we can, but it may be necessary for us to scale back some services as these infections are affecting both staff and community members. Services affected may include allied health and childcare. If services you use are affected, please continue to be patient and kind. We are all working to do the best we can in difficult circumstances.
Remember, basic Infection control measures such as regularly washing hands, using hand sanitiser and wearing face masks can be very effective in protecting you from COVID-19, influenza and gastroenteritis. . While we understand people may be reluctant to cancel appointments, especially for services in high demand, we are asking people to stay at home if they are COVID -19 positive and phone us to reschedule.
Good vaccine supply: Our medical clinics currently have good supplies of vaccines for both COVID-19 boosters and flu shots, including vaccines for adults and children. Please book in if you need either. There is concern about the low update of COVID-19 vaccines for children across our region, so please consider getting your children vaccinated if eligible. We also have good staffing capacity in our medical clinics at the moment, so it’s a good time to book in.

Morning tea at Underbool: You are invited to attend a morning tea on Monday 20th June to provide feedback on MTHCS services and share current community needs to support MTHCS to grow the right services. Come along to the MTHCS Underbool centre at 10am for a cuppa and a scone.
Physiotheraphy services at MTHCS:
What do we offer? Physiotherapists assist people to achieve their highest possible function following injury, illness or dysfunction. They work in partnership with patients to help maximise their independence and develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional, sporting and recreational abilities throughout life.
MTHCS has a hydrotherapy pool onsite at Ouyen which is used for rehabilitation and pain management programs with people under the direction of the physiotherapist.
