Underbool Bowls Club
Our Presentation/President's day will be held on Sunday 14th of April.
We did have our Presentation/President's day scheduled for Saturday April 13, we will have to postpone it for a day and have it on Sunday the 14th as Irymple have their Country Hearing Care A/C 4s on the Saturday.
Pink Lakes Pantry
A big thanks to Jo Goodman (& her back up, Fiona Scott) who deliver the bakery goods during the school term.
With school holidays beginning we are looking for volunteers to pick up the bakery order from Ouyen and deliver it to the Pink Lakes Pantry by 10:30am on the following dates –

Friday 5th April
Monday 8th April
Wednesday 10th April
Friday 12th April
Note : Pick up can be from 8am onwards.

PAPER PICKUP
As the papers are no longer delivered to the shop on Public Holidays, we have to do a Paper Pick Up from the Walpeup Shop on Public holidays prior to the shop opening. If you are able to help out on Easter Friday, Saturday or Monday please contact Colleen Aikman 0407946376. (The papers are delivered to Walpeup at approx. 8.30am. Please leave the papers on the PLP Shop step if it isn’t open). A big thank you to Sue Sly and Gayle Lynch who have been collecting the papers each Saturday and Sunday when they are available.

A working bee will be held on Wednesday 10th April @ 9am to tidy the garden area and hall surrounds.
Assistance from members of the community would be greatly appreciated.
BYO garden tools please (eg: spade, pruning tools, whipper snipper, blower vac).

MTHCS Exercises
Water exercises ran for five weeks in Underbool but have now finished. It was great to see some new faces and have an average attendance of eight at each session. Thanks to MTHCS, Tsharni Burns, Aligned Leisure and pool staff. We hope water exercises will resume when the pool re-opens in November. Land based exercises will resume in mid May.

Kids are invited to join us for a fun morning of craft and LEGO at Ouyen Library. Kids will have the opportunity to let their creativity go free as they personalise a hanging ornament. Library LEGO will also be available for kids to build something amazing!

BYOU…Bring Your Own Ukulele - Beginners and players are welcome!
Do you have a Ukulele tucked away in your cupboard? Bring it along to our Fun with Ukulele sessions and learn how to play some fun songs with us.
Don’t have your own Ukulele? There will be some loaner ukuleles available. To secure a loaner ukulele please contact Ouyen Library either in person or by telephone 5018 83600 before the session.
Programs are free, bookings are required. Bookings can be made by visiting ‘What’s on at the library’ on the library website www.mildura.vic.gov.au/libraries.

Social bowls on Saturday - we had 12 play, playing 2 bowl pairs with 6 sides playing each side once, runner up was Col Aikman & Colleen Gloster and winners for the day was Col Lockett & Ray Gloster.
Sunday - we had 3 teams of triples playing in Ouyen, this week we have 8 players from Underbool or ex Underbool playing 4 days of country week in Bendigo. This Tuesday we had a 4s side traveling to Euston for their Ladies Tournament. Good bowling to all this week.

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined the Tipping Comp this year. We have 54 entries ranging in age from 96 to 8….wow!!!! We have completed the first 2 weeks and have another 23 to go. There are several tippers on 10 after this week, but there’s a long way to go!!

Underbool Bowls Club
Social bowls last Saturday, we had 13 play, playing pairs. The runners up where Marie Cummings & Murray Lockett, the winners where Colin Lockett & John Towk.
We are still having a roll Thursdays at about 5 pm for anyone wishing to come over.
There will be social bowls this Saturday for anyone wishing to have a roll, name in by 1.15pm to start at 1.30. There won’t be a BBQ tea.
We have team’s going to the Murrayville’s 4s tournament on Saturday, also we have a couple of teams playing in Murrayville’s Pairs tournament on Monday.
We also have a 4s team going to Workers on Monday.
Our Presentation/Presidents day will be held on Saturday 13th of April.
