Division 4 playing Mildura at Mildura, winning both rinks 56 shots to 35.
The next game for Saturday Pennant is the 18th January, with both Div. 3 & 4 at home
Midweek Pennant was cancelled on Monday due to the Heat.
The next game for Midweek Pennant is Monday the 13th January, playing home.
With an early start due to the heat on Sunday, our club championship finals were played. In the Ladies a very tight game all the way through, Jennifer Wakefield 25 to Marie Cummings 24. Congratulations to Jennifer on another Championship win.
In the Men’s, the game was pretty tight for the most part, until Ray Gloster (aged 97) broke away towards the end to win 25 to Col Lockett 19. What a great year Ray has had, winning the Mixed Pairs Championship and now the singles.
Jennifer & Ray now go on to play in the Champion of Champions games to be played at Coomealla on Saturday the 4th of January at 9.30 am.
This Wednesday night the 18th is our Xmas break up, sponsored by Ouyen IGA.
Names in by 5.30 pm for a 6pm start. There will be a game before our meal, followed by another game after we eat. A salad would be appreciated.
Everyone is most welcome, even if you just want to come over for the meal and enjoy our Christmas get together.

Underbool Swimming Pool Funding Submission
Request for support for our funding application for our new Underbool Swimming Pool
As some of you may be aware, our community were unsuccessful in our previous submission for our new swimming pool facility. We are now applying for the next round of funding .
Our current pool was built by the community many many years ago and it’s vital we keep advocating for funding to ensure our amazing pool stays in our community.
What I’m seeking for the submission is photos from the community capturing our pool through the eras - Social events, swimming carnivals, swimming training, bushfire periods, lifeguard training and anything that will tell the story through history. If there is photos of various age groups that would be even more amazing for our submission.
We would need permission to share the photos with the funding body (from you), so if anyone has anything they would like to share send via email cassey.gloster@mildura.vic.gov.au.
We are also needing personal ‘letters of support’ from anyone in the community (all age groups). It can be a letter written by anyone who values our facility.
Thank you
